Apl pay comes up when waking phone

I've had numerous times now when I go to wake my 6+, the Apple Pay screen comes up and tells me to hold the phone closer to the scanner. Never had this issue while on iOS 8. Currently running 9.0.2, but it was happening with .0.0 and .0.1 also. Anyone else out there experience this?

With iOS 9, double-clicking the home button when the screen is turned off will bring up the ApplePay screen.

There's an option in Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay to turn that off.

New feature in iOS 9, you can double-tap the Home button to quickly bring up Apple Pay. There's a toggle in the settings to disable it.
