Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here; I use 3 Apple devices daily (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) and my number one complaint when moving between them is I have to disconnect and reconnect my Sony XM3's every single time and half the time they either don't connect or stay connected to the previous device. I also have a pair of Powerbeats Pro which are nice, but no good for commuting and aren't comfortable for long periods of time. However I LOVE how easy it is to move them between devices.

So my question is, short of getting APM's (or Beats, which I'm not a fan of) are there any other headphones with ANC that can be moved painlessly between multiple devices? I have tried AirPods Pro which are fantastic but don't stay in my ears if I move around at all.

I'm not aware of any that will do 3 simultaneous connections. Many of the high end headsets will do 2 simultaneous. I have B&O H95's and I can connect several devices to it. I think the limit on them is 7 total devices. I can have 2 simultaneous connections at any given time which I generally use for the iPhone and MacBook Air. I have iPhone, MacBook Air and Apple TV so for me, having only 2 simultaneous connections, is not an issue as even APM's won't auto connect to Apple TV.

Yeah that's the limitation I'm finding as well - I tested a pair of Plantronics that could do two and that worked pretty well (didn't have to disconnect/reconnect) but they're not great headphones and have a big boom-style mic on them which looks pretty daggy.

I'm somewhat tempted to just bite the bullet and get APM's but they're $899 in my country which doesn't really seem worth it unless Tim personally comes and thanks me for purchasing them. I suppose I can always buy them from Apple direct and return them if I'm not happy/if Tim isn't there.

Yeah I honestly think the Airpods Max would be best for what you want to accomplish. They will auto swap the connection to whatever Apple device you are using, which is nice.. The only Apple device they won't auto swap to is Apple TV but that's as simple as holding the home button to pull up the menu and selecting them from the list..

Here in the US they are currently on sale for $500 which in all honesty, it a great price for what you get. They sound great, they are well built with quality materials and they'll integrate into your Apple ecosystem easily and trouble free..

I currently have the APM and they are awesome.. I am however selling them to a friend as the B&O H95's are replacing them..

Good luck whatever you decide.
