APM noise cancelling not great?

So I got my pair of APMs yesterday and took it to gym - I listened to some messages on WhatsApp and I could hear all the gym music around me. I could also hear everything between songs. Is this normal? I checked firmware and it’s up to date.

I ended up taking them back - they were hurting my ears. I’m still keen to give them a go again whenever the new model is released

My APM's noise cancelling is still working fine, and I use them to walk onto the server floor at the data center I work at.

Try doing a hard reset on them

I’ve heard a few complaints of the APM but weak noise cancellation isn’t one of them.
