My APP 2 Case makes sounds at random times. I'm not charging them, it's just on my desk, I take the case in my hand, it starts beeping. Today at work the case suddenly started to beep. Is there a fix for this?

Same here. I put them back in the case today and as soon as I closed the case, it made a little noise. Opened the case and closed it again, same thing. I thought maybe it was a low battery noise, but the case was still at about 35 percent.

Still a mystery to me. The single chime upon closing is a new feature, although there’s been a bug where it doesn’t always do it. But yeah the multiple chirps happening randomly when you pick it up, still not sure. I’ve resigned to believing it’s just saying “Hi” to me. 😌

Happening to me when I close the case. I disabled Find Me, could be the cause? Strangest thing is that it started doing this a couple of days ago, not in the previous week that I used them.

Had this happen last week. Seems like this fixed it:
  1. Forget AirPods in iOS settings
  2. With the AirPods lid open hold the back button until blinking white, then amber, then white.
  3. Re-pair them
-update-
To expand on this a little. It started after I once left the case at home and I was already out the door wearing the buds. Pressing the back button a few times made it stop, but it would come back at random times (often motion induced, is there an accelerometer in the case*? I know you can tap it to show charge level). After forgetting, resetting and then re-pairing it hasn't happened again.

(* Yup, turns out it there is: https://electronics360.globalspec.com/article/14978/teardown-apple-airpods-pro-with-charging-case).

I have had the same issue and forgetting and repairing doesn't help. Even when I had the airpod pros 2 forgotten by devices, it would still make the multiple chime noise when I insert an airpod pro into the case. I repaired and problem continues. Only seems to occur when case is lower than 40% battery, but the issue is frustrating to the point I am calling Apple this week.
