App charging money with family sharing On

Hi,

Can you please kindly help me with family sharing?

I have family sharing on, app sharing on, and recently purchased an app for £4.99.

When my wife tried to download it on her iphone it the store requests her to purchase it again.

what are we doing wrong?

Did your wife go into your purchase list first, or direct to the app on the app store?

It is a shortcoming of family sharing, but if a family user views an app purchased by someone else, it will show a price amount, as your photo shows. However, if they tap that, they will get a message saying it was already purchased and do they want to download it.
