I've had a wade through but havent really found an answer.

Using whatever app, be it safari, chrome, MS Word, adobe reader etc, if I try and do a "Save As" or an "Open" from the file menu (ie one that brings up the finder dialogue box), I can only save to the folder that's displayed. If I try and scroll down to find a file that I'm trying to open, or scroll to another folder to save the file, the app freezes for a few seconds then crashes.

Has anyone else come across this?

Late 2012 iMac 27 with PB1 on it.

This happens to me on almost all non-Apple software -

I first noticed it when trying to upload a file in Chrome - I can scroll in the list of drives and favorite folders on the left, but when I attempt to scroll to find a folder in the main Open dialogue window the program crashes.

Subsequently, I have found this problem, both save and opening in the follow:

Outlook 2007
Adobe Illustrator CS6
Photoshop CS6
