Hello, MacRumors. I have a quick queation. :)

I currently have an iPod Touch 3G and I'm going to be buying an iTunes gift card this Saturday so i can get some paid apps. I'm gonna be getting an iPod Touch 4G within a month but I am scared of what'll happen if I download an app for $0.99 and then I will have to re-purchase it once i get my 4G... D:

Will it be transfered over to my new iPod somehow, or will I have to re-pay to download it again? >.>

Purchased apps are tied to the iTunes account, not the device. So when you sync your new iPod, iTunes will/can load all of your apps on the new device. Real simple, nothing to worry about.

So all I do is log into iTunes like I normally do? Do I have to restore my Settings to the new iPod from iTunes when I'm setting it up, or can I choose to "Start a New iPod"?

Thanks for the speedy reply. :D

As long as you use the same iTunes account, you can set it up as a new device.
