App Drawer and Badge Icon Notification

I don’t have the PB installed, but I had a question!

Normally if I have a notification from an app there will be a red badge icon as an indicator.
How do badge icons work for apps that are solely in the app drawer in iOS14?

There is no "app drawer" that's an Android terminology. However as for the App Library; It's still very much a work in progress with the badges. It was changed between beta 1 and beta 2. As it stands there are no badges on the App Library overview, but if you dig into a category of th App Library the badges are there

In settings, you can turn on app badges for the App Library. I’m on beta 2 and still have all of my badges.

Hm, this is interesting. I guess for notifications it will be wise to have them show up on the lock screen. Otherwise, you may miss them unless you’re checking your app library and rummaging around.
An example might be when someone adds me on LinkedIn. I don’t get a lock screen notification, but rely on the red badge app icon.

Not interested in seeing more badges. I will keep that feature turned off in the App Library.
