Any thoughts on app file size now that they are popping up?

Perhaps larger storage space is starting to look more attractive?

Examples

Netflix 3.2 MB
Yahoo Entertainment 16.7 MB
MixxMuse 31.5 MB

I'm fine with unused space but not having enough would bother me. Why I went with the 64g. Too bad no 128g.

There's already been a few iphone games (such as Myst) that have topped 2gigs. (Hrm scratch that I was wrong Myst is only a bit over 500mb) I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see some iPad titles around that. Hopefully we see more full featured games. I don't know what C&C Red Alert on iPad for example contains but I'd gladly pay $20 or so for it if it had plenty of single player content and multiplayer. But from what I understand the iPhone version was lacking in content and this is probably just a port of it.

With all of that said I went for the 64gb version. Not only would I hate to run out of space but this will give me enough room to fit my music collection on it if I use the 128k scaling option plus a few movies.

Personally I don't think it's a big issue. If you get close to max space leave some of your apps with iTunes on your PC and don't sync the ones you're not currently using.

All those "heavy" apps together only add up to 1GB.
I don't plan on keeping much music on iPad (which is the largest consumer of space on most people's devices)- i have my iPhone everywhere i go.
So 16 GB should be fine, no?
