I'm looking for an application to show my calendar events on the lock screen.

I tried using a program called KATE, which comes from the installer, but it slows my phone dreadfully, but it looked good, check out the picture:

Is there any proper application maybe from the app store that can do this?

Intelliscreen is actually the only non-App store app that i've seen that has made me seriously consider jailbreaking my iPhone again. it's functionality is just so obvious i'm surprised Apple didn't provide something similar from the start.
if it wasn't that installing 2.1 gave me so much trouble, i'd have jailbroken my iphone to use Intelliscreen already
might try it again this weekend

Jailbreaking with Quickpwn was quite easy for me.

After the jailbreak I started out by trying some applications from the installer and cydia, but soon found out that allot of these applications slow down your phone and even cause random freezes. So at the moment iNtelligent is the only "illegal" app I have!
