Hi I was wondering if anyone has seen and/or used an app that helps manage ticket sales to an event. Currently, a group I work with holds monthly events where people either pre-purchase tickets or buy them at the door. The challenge is getting all this information into an efficient format that can be mailed off to HQ. Right now, the people working the ticket sales have to manually write down everyone's name and ID # on paper, which to me is a waste of time and energy.
So as I wait for my iPad to get delivered, I'm wondering if there is an app out there that would allow us to buy some iPads and have the people selling the tickets to input the data real-time into the iPad, which is then compiled somewhere where we can run a report and send it off.
I know it's a longshot but thought I'd check. Or at least, if there is a developer out there looking for an idea, this is one I'd be very interested in.
