With the introduction of iPhone 8 and iPhone X, I've been thinking a lot about chargers. I definitely plan to get a Qi charger this fall. I see the new iPhones will charge at 7.5W speeds using Qi. Not only do you need to buy a wireless charging pad that supports that speed, but also consider that the USB to power adapter you're using with it is giving it the full amount of power it can handle.
Are there any apps out there that show how many watts your iOS device is getting from its charger? I'd love to be able to measure 3rd party devices against the wattage of Apple's chargers.
