Hi Guys,

My iPod is docked into a Speaker Docking Station. The result is that all audio that the iPod outputs is nicely played via the speakers.

My question is if there's an app that allows you to stream your mac's audio to your ipod. I would then install the app on my iPod and 'run' it when I would want my Mac's audio to be played over the speakers (without having to connect my Mac itself to the speaker's docking station).

Intuitively I would expect an app like that should exist, it sounds so straightforward and would only require Wi-Fi I reckon.

Thoughts?

My thanks in advance for your thoughts and help, my appreciation is eternal..

PS. FYI; I'm aiming for all my Mac's audio to be played via my iPod, not just iTunes music or something..

In case anybody runs onto this thread in the future;

I solved my problem with AirFoil;
- I installed Airfoil for Mac on my Mac
- I installed the app Airfoil Touch Speakers on my iPod
- Paid a $25 (one-time) license fee [note you can first try out 10 minutes for free to see if it all works]
- With the Airfoil Video Player (an overlay video player for other applications/browsers) there's no problem with the audio delaying w.r.t. video playback

Awesome
