Hi app gurus,
I'm looking for an app/workaround to forward text messages both ways to another phone. The app will be on an extra phone I have lying around, and it forwards income text messages to my main phone. What I also need is to be able to text the person back with the extra phone through my main phone. Extra phone will just be lying at home charging.
So let me explain everything:
I accidentally got my number banned from a taxi (rideshare) service which uses a call/text forwarding - in other words, me (the rider) and the driver do not have each other's number but can call or text each other via a anonymize number.
Now, I made a new account using a burner phone (prepaid SIM card) in an extra iPhone I had lying around. So the problem is I need an app/workaround for me and the driver to text (so to send texts between extra phone and this anonymize number) while this extra phone sits at home somewhere.
PS. The rideshare service does not allow VOIP/internet phones (has to be a real phone number). In other words, the rideshare's anoymizer cannot send messages to any vitural phones/services.
Would appreciate any solutions/insights. Thanks all!
