App Icon Consolidation

I am currently using Categories and putting Apps in folders, its okay and serves it purpose but I am looking to see if anyone is using something better and what the good/bad are that you have found using them.

I have heard of Stacks, but how does it compare with Categories and what are the good/bad of it?

I really like stacks, but it's very very buggy for me. I guess I should say I like the IDEA of stacks. It's still in beta, so hopefully he'll release a finalized version soon.

Stacks has been in beta forEVER.

Thanks for the replies so far...are there any others? So far it looks like Categories is the best option unless someone can provide additional info or options.
