App letting to sleep my mac ?

Im after app that will let me sleep my mac remotely and ideally would be if i could wake it up too.

Why do you need an app to remotely sleep your mac? Just set up a timer in energy saver. After XX minutes of idle sleep.

You can use any of the available VNC client apps for the iPhone to put your mac to sleep.

Not sure about how to wake it up, though. I know 'wake on LAN' doesn't work over wifi. But you're hardwired, there might be a solution.

VNC clients are seriously dangerous so i heard i just would like to be able to simply seel my mac whenever i want to. dont want to set up a timer or so. watching a movie and decide to sleep it..fire up and app press sleep mac and ta-da, anything like this ?
