You don't upload your application to the portal for testing. You built/install it via XCode. Apple provide full documentation on the portal. I suggest you read it.

thanks

thanks, i read iphone-programming-guide.pdf in page 54 that

I will have to create a certificate signature request [CSR] file. I did that. then i need to upload that to developer account. I dont see any link to upload that in my developer account login. I would appreciate somebody telling me the exact link.

Read the guide more carefully. On page 5 (actually page 7 of the PDF) of the "iPhone Developer Program" guide it clearly tells you that you need to be in the "iPhone Developer Program Portal".

I also note that you appear to be running Windows. That won't work. You must be on a Mac.

I cannot provide a link: it is a NDA covered document within the iPhone Developer portal.

Go to http://developer.apple.com/
Click on Visit iPhone Dev Center
Click on Log In.
Click on Program Portal
Click on iPhone Developer Program Portal Guide

And once again you need to be on a Mac to get a certificate...

I have the same problem... I'm porting a pool game (see poolrebel.com) and I'm desperate to try it on a device but cannot see find portal link anywhere...

I've sent two messages to apple dev support so far but received no reply yet!

Anyone has any advice?

thank you,
Nikos.

If you have paid your fee and received an email from Apple regarding activating your account then click the link in the email. If you don't see the portal link then make sure to clear the cache in your web browser and log off the iPhone developer site before clicking the link in the email.

Yes, I did all this, several times on different machines - the portal link is nowhere...

I kept the activation key, enrollment ID & iPhone Developer Program Order #.

I don't know why apple support are ignoring me... I emailed them (using the ADC link) on the 27nth & 30th (Sept) - no response yet!

It's very frustrating cause I need to find out what the performance is like on the actual hardware.

I was even tempted to re-order but it doesn't let me do that!

Thanks anyway,
Nikos.

Thank you - it seems I that have no access...! (see attachment)

I need to talk to someone from ADC support... when they decide to reply to my messages.

Cheers,
Nikos.
