App on Elderly Parent Phone to Notify Me

Hello,
My mom lives on her own in a different state and is tech saavy. She has a newer iPhone and I'm hoping there is something I can install on her phone to notify me if she does not arrive home at a certain time in the evening or leave at a certain time in the morning. I've looked at some kid apps (Kid Control, etc) and it will notify me each time she arrives or leaves the geofence of her home which is good but I'd prefer to have it only notify me if she does not do either action by a certain time so I'm only alerted if something is not normal.

And why don't you use friends app on your iPhone... You can know in real-time where she is...

Many thanks. I can see where my mom is real time with Kids Control. My hope is that I don't have to open any app multiple times a day. Rather, I'm looking to get an alert if she has not left the house or returned at certain times. I'm also open to ideas around motion sensors in the house.

Is she disabled? My mother, 83, would have a fit over being monitored like that.

Well them I just see two options: Life360 App and IP Camera, with ip camera you can receive alerts when there is movement. I use one from Eye4, is pretty good, and I can even listen and send audio through my iphone.

I don't have an app in mind but what you could be looking for is a way to get a notification or email of her location at those two certain times.

Ha! She is not disabled. She asked simply to make sure someone would be aware if she had taken a spill and couldn't get to a phone or if she did not make it home at night since she is out taking care of my father at a different facility. I don't need to know where she is every second. Just if something does not seem right where I would drop her a text to check in.

You could always be a good son/daughter and just text her every night. Something simple like "hope you had a great day. Love you!" Then just make sure her read receipt is on.
