App recommendations, especially photo

Thought I'd start a thread, rather than add my questions to another. I've Googled but hoped some of you that use iOS and Android could help better.

On iOS, my fav photo editing app is Enlight. Can't seem to find one that does the same on Android. My most used feature is merging two pictures and erasing parts of one, sort of like Photoshopping. It's got lots of features and would love a similar one to edit pics on my Note while I'm away from my iPad & PC.

What are the best music players for Android? And ones with more EQ presets than the stock Google one.

Before I commit to buying the full iSyncr, are there any others as good or better?

I've surprised myself how quickly I've taken to the Note & Android, so want to make the most of it. Are there any other apps I should be looking at that lots of people use? The so for any help!

Can’t help you with the photo editing or music player I’m afraid. I’m happy with the basic features in Google Photos and Google Music so I don’t really look beyond these.

Since I use both an Android Phone and an iPad, I try to stick to cross platform apps as much as possible. So you may well already be familiar with them. Perhaps it would be easier if you make a list of the iOS-only apps or features you are looking to replace and then suitable cross-platform or Android-only apps could be suggested.

At the moment, I think the only Android-only app I use is Android Auto. However, I sometimes also use Nine and Business Calendar 2 (also Android-only). I’d recommend trying these if you have a need to connect to a MS Exchange account.

It's the being able to merge and manipulate photos I'm most after.

For one touch pic edits ... I found "Perfectly Clear" to be the best. It's not a manual editor, but it does a damn good job at improving a photo's quality. I got it for free awhile ago, but it's a paid app now.

For more robust photo editing, I use the combination of "Background Eraser" and "PhotoLayers" which are made from the same developer. The UI is not pretty but it's extremely simple to use and completely free.

Snapseed is a good preset photo corrector.

As far as one app that does it all well? I never really looked into that. I'm the type that likes to edit with multiple apps that each one is great at a specific task.

Just had a look and these will probably do the erasing of pics good enough, thanks. Most apps I use are pretty generic and I haven't found I'm really missing out by switching to Android.

Yea, when I first tried them out myself, I was surprised how well they work. I use the eraser app, save it, then apply that saved photo to the layers app. Once I'm done. Then I use a color editing app.

Do you find editing pics a lot better using the S Pen? I'm yet to try but imagine it being easier than using fingers.

When using the eraser app, the S-pen gives me a more steady hand. I'm not tapping the undo button as often.
