For the past couple weeks I have noticed a significant drop in battery life and it has consistently been because of the App Store. I always completely close out the application when I am not using it, yet it still runs in the background. I have also changed my settings to not allow automatic app updating. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a solution? I have an iPhone 8 with ios11.

Have you force restarted your device? Usually when this happens, a process is getting stuck in the background and the force restart will fix it.

I haven’t done a force restart, I’ll try it and get back to you tomorrow!
