How to download free apps from app-store (i want to know what user id and password to give?)

I am newbie to "APPLE" and i just have only iPhone developer program ac count... Also i make use of a iPod Touch for development....

Just create a basic account though iTunes using your email and whatnot, and there shouldn't be any problem

So iTunes account can be used for APp-Store as well !!!!

But why i want to submit credit card details???

I am interested in Free-Apps in App-Store...

So the developer apple ID is not enough !!!!! right ?

They ask for credit card details so if you choose to buy an app that costs money you won't need to enter the details.

i tried to buy a game on app store but my friend's email add popped up and asked for password.. what can i change to my email add.. ???
