Is it just me or does the Games portion of the App Store need a COMPLETE overhaul. As a gamer, I can NEVER find what I'm looking for. If Apple is really trying to push the touch as a gaming device, they should seriously make it easier for people to find games that they're looking for. Even simple categories would help: Sports, Puzzle, Action/Adventure, Strategy, etc. - but that's not enough. You should be able to see ratings of games when you're looking at them in a list, or maybe even a short description of the game as well.

Or am I blind and this stuff already exists? Does anyone else feel my pain?

And not only that, but loads of games in the App Store don't deserve to be on there... (no offense developers), but some games look like complete crap.

Also, it's rather annoying seeing half of the search page full of "Lite" or "FREE!!!" apps... they should be paired with the actual game pages, not separate ones, and should just be seen as demos of the actual game.

What do you guys have to say about this?

In iTunes 9, hover your cursor over the "App Store" button, and a down arrow appears. Click it, and go to games. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and there are categories like Action, Adventure, Sports, Word, etc.
