Hi,

I don't know exactly when this started but: It happens with a few apps that their updates are not showing under the "Updates" tab in the App Store. In order to update them I have to go to the app's page in the App Store and update them that way. When the update is done it also doesn't show under the "Updates" tab.

Anyone else having this issue and knows a fix?

Thanks and best wishes
Chris

Still having this problem unfortunately. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this issue and knows a solution?

E. g. I just had this problem with the app "Gifski". "MacUpdater" told me that there is a new version available. Then I launched the App Store and went to the "Updates" tab but there wasn't any update displayed there. I then manually went to the app's App Store page to update it.

App Store doesn't deliver updates at the same time to all users. Depending on your region, macOS version, and probably some other criteria, updates could show up after a day or two. It happens on iOS too.
You can try to restart appstoreagent from Activity Monitor or reboot.

But the thing is that the update does show up. It just doesn’t show up under „Updates“. It just shows up when I directly go to the app‘s page on the App Store. And after the update is done it also doesn’t show under „Updates“ (where normally the completed updates of the last days are shown).

I have the same problem. In my case, I think it is due to my running with a consumer grade VPN service (Torguard) connected all the time. Are you running a VPN?

I have the same problem. Still looking for a solution.
I'm using VPN but I don't think it's the case.
