I tried searching for this, but no luck. Probably not using correct terms.

Anyway, with the ios11 update, I now get a chime and (haptic) buzz when I use the touch ID to confirm an app purchase download. How do I kill that noise and buzz?

I've checked Settings>Notifications and Settings>App Store. Nothing there. I've disabled all notifications for the App Store. Still makes the noise and buzzes. System Haptics are off.

ios 10 didn't do a confirmation, other than starting the download.

How do I turn that off?

You can flip the mute switch to get rid of the chime, but I don’t think you will be able to turn off all feedback, like the buzz
