Apple is doing "something" with the review process. Right now the stars on our app MeterRead are dimmed out and it says "no reviews" but you can click on it and see the reviews.

It looks like they are adding the version number to each review and maybe, just maybe they are going to do something about the review on exit fiasco that has affected our sales. I've contacted them twice about this and have not received a response, but we'll see.

Please don't comment on how the review on exit is good without reading the text on image one in this post. We have a valid complaint.

Good luck developers!
:D

I am not a developer, and the review on exit system always seemed dumb to me. It has to result in lowering average review scores, never raising them. A system with that kind of built in bias isn't fair to buyers or sellers. I need to see comments on why someone likes or dislikes an application. A star rating without comment is useless to me and to developers.

Update

Our app is now showing 2 reviews with a 3.5 star rating. When you click on the review button you then see all 16 reviews.

I'll keep you posted if I find anything else out.

Dupe? Where's the other one? Can't find it. Thanks. Also were showing 5 reviews now, looks like they are updating every app. Thanks Apple.

good thing, they have to fix the review process, it really gives a false impression because of morons who rate it 1 star for no reason.

even idracula has 498 1 star ratings. Just can't please everyone in the app store.
