App Store "Today" tab doesn't update

Is anyone else having an issue in which the content in the Today tab of the App Store does not refresh automatically? I have to force close and reopen the App Store to get it to refresh. Only happens on my iPad Pro.

I have this happen intermittently on my iPhone 7. Usually when I view the Today tab early in the morning.

I wonder if this is because the App Store “stays” in memory. Whenever I open the App Store, it immediately reopens to content and I never see the brief white screen that shows up when an app has to reload.

Yup same here. Not that big a deal but a bit annoying.
