I'm currently running OS X El Capitan Developer Beta 2. When I check the Updates tab of the Mac App Store, it shows me that OS X El Capitan Developer Beta 3 is available, but when I click on the "UPDATE" button next to it, all it does is show the button recessed, and on mouse up it returns the button to normal. It never shows me a progress bar of any sort like normal. It doesn't do anything to indicate that it has received my mouse click.
Restarting the Mac App Store did not help me.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Is there an alternative way of downloading and running the installer for Beta 3?
Edit: Just discovered the command line tool softwareupdate that comes with OS X.
softwardupdate -l
Shows that it knows that the update is available.
I'm running softwareupdate -i -a
Right now, but the last thing it printed out was
Finding available software
And that was 3 minutes ago now. I wish I had included the -v flag, because I have no idea if it's working or not right now.
Edit 2:
It just printed out this:
Downloading OS X El Capitan Developer Beta 3
Guess my internet is just slow as hell...
