App Store - Where is account credit balance?

In previous versions, after redeeming a card, the current balance could always be seen at the very bottom of the screen.

I’m not seeing this there in iOS 11, nor can I find it under my account ID menu at the top.

I now suspect the balance I was looking for is now zero, so nothing is showing up...

Go to updates tab and tap your profile pic in the top right corner.

In iOS 11 the balance is under the ‘account’ section which is under you account emoji.. hope this helps others with this very recent redisign decision
