I just downloaded a 2 Gb game over cellular. I got the pop up warning about 100 MB clicked ok and went to home screen and it started downloading. Maybe the got rid of it in iOS 10?

I really hope so. The mandatory wifi data requirements in iOS are outdated, and don't take into account people who have 4G/LTE only.

I have truly unlimited data with metropcs and don't have wifi all the time

Er yeah, cos you're still running the same version of iOS.

There's definitely a bug. The bug is either that the message hasn't been updated/removed or it's that it downloads anyway. My money's on the latter. Not much more to say till another beta is released imo...
