iPhone App that will send SMS to emergency contacts based on location data?

I’ve had a quick search but haven’t been able to find anything that does this.

I’m looking for an app that can automatically send an alert/SMS to family members/emergency contacts using location data.

I live alone and work shifts so often have large blocks of time where I’m not in work and may not see family friends. I worry that if something happened to me it could take several days or even a week for anyone to notice and I worry about what would happen to my dogs.

examples of what I’d like the app to do:

If I haven’t left my home in over 24 hours then an alert/SMS is sent to designated emergency contacts to notify of this.

If i haven’t returned home for over 24 hours then the same thing happens.

It seems like a simple thing to implement so I’d be surprised if it doesn’t exist. Maybe I’m just not using the right search words.

Try the Companion app. I think it does what you are looking to accomplish.
