Hi,

Does anyone know of a good iPhone app that will allow me to find the exact location of friends that I'm trying to meet up with??

When I go out I sometimes go to crowded festivals or bars, and its a pain to find out where my friends are located. I have to end up calling them, and then I can barely hear what they are saying because it's so loud.

I'm sure there is an app that I can use that can take me to their exact location using the iPhone GPS.

Thank you,

No one knows of an app like this??

I know Loopt and Google Latitude have some functionality like this, but I'm looking to be able to find the exact location of a friend.

Thank you,

I believe the new version of Loopt would do this because it has the ability to run in the bg, but that does kill battery because the gps stays on.

Outside of Loopt, your only option is the AT&T Family locator thing, but that's just for members of family plans, and is a monthly fee.

The new Loopt will work if your friend is willing to let it run in the bg.

try 'heyway' - you can send out your locations to friends who also have the app, and you can also send location requests to friends.

Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and Gowalla. If they have any or all of those chances are there will be an update telling you exactly where they are and what they are doing...

I'm not sure if there is an app for stalking yet. lol, j/k. The best app for what you want to do is probably loopt.
