Hello,

I have recently started experimenting with different plant-based milks and thought it would be useful to keep track of favorites so I can easily get them again next time.

Is there any app that would let me conveniently record these purchases, tag them or perhaps have multiple lists for food & other stuff?

I guess I can use Notes or Photos but don't want to clutter my other stuff with this. Specialized app could also perhaps let me quickly scan bar code for look-up in a shop.

Thanks!

Check out the apps of your favourite super market (or maybe a local competitor).

For example, here in Switzerland, Migros offers an app where you can scan in the barcodes of the food items. You can then add them to your favourites or to the shopping list and check the availability in nearby stores as well as the prices.
You can even use it inside the store to scan and pay for new products, bypassing the (self) checkout line.

There are some generic apps as well, such as codecheck, that I have used before.

On the milk front, I replaced most cow's milk with sheep milk (healthier) and organic heavy cream (for coffee), I use coconut milk for some smoothies and almond milk is also acceptable in some cases.
Be careful with soymilk, unfermented soy is generally hard to digest and often not so healthy. And some people are allergic to it specifically (including me). Others have no issues drinking it.

Anylist is a list app which can be used to do various types of lists. I used it for shopping lists, to do lists, lists of stuff in places like freezers at home.
