is there an app that will lock programs requiring a password to use particular apps that have been locked?

i see in bossprefs i can "poof" to make it invisible...but this isnt what i want??

thank you

type into cydia search LOCKDOWN.. it locks any app you choose.. how much more can i break it down?

that other app that guy is talking about sucks.. i have used both and lockdown is soo much better.. and dont you hve to pay for the other app

Or madvlock or w/e its called :) its perfect.

Have you tried both? I have lockdown and was wondering if madvlock was faster or something like that?

Note- Yes, I am too lazy to uninstall lockdown and install madvlock:p:p

Update- Nevermind, madvlock is 14.99 where lockdown is free....

Lol don't want to break rules with how I got mine, but madvlock has more features and its faster for me because when I clock on an app it just brings up a little text field and i type the pass in :) and boom im in the app.

??? LockDown works exactly the same way...

i have tried lockdown and madvlock and i have came to the conclusion that lockdown has a serious security flaw. i have quickgold installed and if i launch an app that is locked through lockdown, then press the home button, my springboard crashes and goes into safe mode. at this point, any app is launchable w/o the required pw. this does not occur with madvlock.

Thanks for that tip. What a serious flaw, being able to bypass the password.

Not everyone's does that. Mine doesn't, for example.
If I use QuickGold to try to open a locked app, it opens the app, but also brings up the keypad to put in the password. The app is open, but it's useless without the passcode. If you tap Cancel at the keypad prompt, the app closes.

sorry i dont think i was very clear. i mean that if you launch a locked app the lockdown screen will appear. before entering the password press your home button. this will put your phone in safe mode.
