APP to Lock/Unlock Native iOS Photos APP ?

There's no possible way to do what you want on a phone that isn't jailbroken.
I have to give my iPad to the service guys for some days and I dont want him to go through all my photos, thats why !
Backup iPad. Wipe ipad.
If you don't do that, there's a chance of getting a nasty shock and having no photos to look at when it comes back.
I dont want to go through this painful process, other than this any solution like an app to lock photos app is what I am actually looking out for.
There is no way to lock an application in an iOS device. That answer has not changed since my first reply.
Chances are good that your iPad will get wiped when it goes in for service, or you'll get a replacement device, depending on who's doing the servicing.
Use icloud photo library. Sign out of icloud. Profit.
Removing the photos from your device is the *only* way to selectively prevent access.
Fully agree with what was said above. Also, your phone is encrypted so nobody will be able to temper with your data. However if you don't back up you risk loosing it all in case of device failure / replacement, etc. It really has nothing to do with iOS, it's just common logic.
Also, could you explain why is backing up "painful" process? It's one click (or zero click if you set it to auto) if you have a Mac and one click if you don't (iCloud). Hard to imagine how it could be simpler.
