App to prevent external discs mounting at startup

Hi,

I have a Caldigit T3 plus dock with 2 WD MyBook harddrives connected to it. Since MyBook drives do not have a power switch they automatically connect when I connect my Macbook to the dock.

Is there an app that prevents discs from mounting at startup or when I attach the laptop to the dock?

I used to use Mountain app but that was only to remount a drive I unmounted. It also seems that Mountain app is abandonware now.
