Hello, sometimes I have to interview people for my work. The conversation is recorded as an mp3. I use ExpressScribe to listen and slow down the pitch for transcribing the conversation into text. Is there an app that could do this automatically. That is I feed it with the mp3 and it does the transcribing to text. No need the text be perfect. My work is to write a good article or story. I googled a solution but most are suited to Windows. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

The only one I know is Dragon Dictate, where you’ll put an audio file and it transcribes it to text. However it’s been years since I’ve used it and most of my usage was technical support on it. I’ve learned to loathe Nuance as a company (even more so for their Mac compatibility/support) and it’s really pricey, so hopefully you can “acquire it” cheaper.

As a workaround you could install Soundflower to add input/outputs on your Mac, and play it back with Siri recognition.

If your app already does something similar but you want an “offline” version where it doesn’t transcribe in real-time, maybe Google Cloud? Free trial by the looks of it. Can’t say how good it is though: https://cloud.google.com/speech-to-
