Is there an app for directly transferring files from an iPhone to an iPad without having any computer or WiFi network in between?

I'm basically looking for a bluetooth file exchange app for the iPhone/iPad. Does one exist?

Possible scenario: Download word doc via Dropbox over 3G on the iPhone, now how do I get that file to the iPad?

Thanks!

this

once files are in dropbox, can be accessed from iphone, ipad and computer

easy

Yeah, I have dropbox already. My problem is directly transfering Dropbox files to another iOS device. I want to be able to download a file via dropbox over 3G on my iPhone 4 then push it over to my WiFi only iPad.

I've just been using Ifile and attachment saver to email files to myself between the two devices. Just added my email to my contacts list.
Also, Safari Download Manager has helped eliminate the need to to do this so often.
Obviously both devices need to be jailbroken.
Bluetooth transfer would be nice tho.

As I said AirSaring HD will do this via WiFi, if it is installed on both the iPhone and iPad.

1.) You save the file into the App on your iPhone from e-mail, from iDisk, a webDav server, drop box, your computer, or where-ever.

2.) You turn sharing mode on in the App on the iPhone, (setting a password/ secure if you wish).

3.) You open the App on the iPad, and the iPhone appears as a shared disk/server.

4.) You navigate to the file you want and copy it from there and paste it into a folder in the App on the iPad.

Simple as pie.

Moving 3GB at one time is a lot. I tend to email notes, ebooks and photos to myself and open in ReaddleDocs under Attachments.

I'm not sure you're right here. It only works for me if both devices are on the same wifi network. It won't work otherwise, even if wifi is enabled on both devices. Are you really getting this to work without being on the same network?
