Hello there,

I am an iPhone X user. I am using the latest version and my phone is up to date.

When I went to "Privacy > Tracking" on my phone, I noticed that something was missing. Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter apps didn't ask me for permission to follow me. I can't see these apps in the settings menu either. I can't see these apps in the tracking menu either.

My girlfriend uses iPhone 12 Pro and when I checked her phone, her tracking menu has Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

What do you think could be the problem?

is the option "authorized app to ask for app tracking" on or off ? Because if it is off, the app won't ever ask you if they can follow you, it will be denied by default for all

Yes, it's clear. Many applications are already asking for this request, but Instagram, Facebook and Twitter don't just ask. It doesn't show up on the list either.

I just factory reset my phone. Nothing changed. Applications such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter still do not ask me for this permission.

Anyone else having this problem besides me? Or is there something wrong with me? I want to learn this.

Are you on at least iOS 14.5 or above?
