Is this a common issue? I have an app on my phone that has an update waiting, but it only shows up in iTunes, and not in the App Store app on the phone itself. I've just noticed, after checking, that it was not the only app to exhibit this behaviour, and there may be as many as three (one of the apps doesn't reveal its version number so it's hard to tell).

I recall having noticed this problem back in the days of my 3GS, but had forgotten about it until now.

Am I alone in experiencing this behaviour?

Restore your iPhone :)

I'm going to make this my last response, because you've clearly no interest in being civil.

I would just like to point out my two explicit questions were:
Is this a common issue?
Am I alone in experiencing this behaviour?
It takes no great effort to conclude that your response is inapplicable to each.

It also takes no great effort to conclude that a possible solution is to perform a backup and restore, so it's a little offensive that you felt the need to offer it unsolicited as a non-sequitur.

I'm sure this post will have no effect whatsoever on the way you choose to respond to forum posts in future, but one can hope…
