I have an iPhone 15 and my wife has the 16 Pro. For the last few months, I've noticed that when connected to my home wireless network, it seems to take FOREVER for Apple app updates to install. I'm talking like 30 minutes or more. I have a 1 GB fiber connection. When I run speed tests from my ethernet connected devices, I typically see download speeds around 980 Mb/s. When I run speed tests from our phones, I see anywhere from 380 - 450 Mb/s, which seems reasonable to me. Videos seem to play on our phones just fine. We don't seem to notice any kind of lag, but download app updates takes a really long time. I've noticed that if I shut off the wireless and connect to my carrier's 5G network, the downloads seem almost instantaneous. I don't get it.
