App upgrade message: "Cannot connect to iTunes store"

My phone shows an update is available but when I try to upgrade it I keep getting a message that says "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store". Yet if I go to the iTunes store through the iTunes button I can download a song with no problem. Any suggestions or help???

some problem with app store today ,
when i try to dwload updates ,usually it askes only for itunes acc password
today it asked for username too along with it ,
was so wried and I closed it ...
