I'm loading my iPad with the apps from my iPhone, and, on recommendations from others, have unchecked all the iPhone apps, since most of them won't look good on the iPad.
I've gone through the App Store's iPad section and re-downloaded those that I already have that have iPad-specific versions. I also went and got the iWork set (why aren't these in the iPad section? Seems sort of counterintuitive....).
Now, here's the question: Do I have to go back and re-read the current description for all my other iPhone apps to see if they have upgraded them to a universal app? Good grief. Or, turn them all back on, see which ones suck, and turn them back off in iTunes to unsync them?
I thnk the whole 'new category of device' thing (but it overlaps the old one (iPhone)) hasn't been thought through...
I would have hoped apps that have an 'iPad' internal version (universal app) would show in the iPad section, even though you don't need to repurchase them.
Or is there a shortcut I'm missing here? I know it's a one-time thing, but it's a long one-time!
