Is there some app you'd love to see, but haven't heard anything about yet?

One I'd love to see is a Google Earth app. Google maps are nice, but GE is a leap above that. It wouldn't have really been practical on the iPhone/Touch, but I think would be fantastic on the iPad. I'm not sure how much animosity there is between Google & Apple... and if they'd really work on something like this, but man...

.....well Goole Earth is and has been available on the iphone for over a year and a half now. Not sure how it will upscale but I'm sure Google is working on an iPad version but want's to see it actually running on an iPad (not just simulator) before releasing.

Final Draft has been tipped but that's a definite one for me. Sort of must-have in the medium term if not sooner.

In terms of what I haven't necessarily heard about: a REALLY good, seamless, simple, yet powerful "print any document on this iPad to a wireless-network printer" app.

But honestly, with ABC, NBC, CBS, netflix, MLB, Youtube, Sling, and Hulu (rumored but let's face it - it'll happen) dropping, and Fox likely, my wishlist gets shorter every day!

I want my favorite digital art programs on iPad: Photoshop, Painter and ArtRage. My other favorite, Sketchbook Pro, has already been confirmed; hopefully we'll see something from the others as well!

Not too much I'm wishing for but just a couple. Tilt to Live, Tweetie and Reeder. I'm not sure if these have been announced but I haven't heard of it :p

BTW if you really want to lose a few hours, head over to the leaked app archive (sorry to lazy to find link - it's all over the place).

icons, names, screenshots and descriptions of something like 1300 iPad apps.

Oy!

Ha- I just didn't know there was a google earth for iPhone/touch. Awesome... I can hardly keep track of these things. That almost guarantees they come out with an iPad version (I wonder how the upscale on the existing one is).

I'm also looking forward to a starwalk "HD" version... Best night-sky / stargazing app I've seen. Though, I wonder, will Google Earth come with Google Sky?

Anthony - there is already at least one print app... I'm sure there will be many many more. I wonder if printer manufacturers might come out with their own apps. This will make printing a two-step process - you'd have to launch the print app to print some file that you created elsewhere. But, could work well. I have a networked laser printer at home (Konica-Minolta), and would love to be able to use it. That said, I think with the iPad, I'll be printing fewer things (at least for personal use). Why print something when you can just take the iPad instead?
