APP2: isolation mode doesn’t work

Hi guys, this is the setup:
16 pro max with iOS 18.

I can see the voice isolation mode in the control center and it’s active during or so it seems.

I tried to send some vocal message or voice memos with AirPods Pro 2 outdoor in a loud ambient and my voice can be barely listened.

Completely awful.

Am I missing something?

The AirPods are updated to to latest firmware.

The “voice isolation” is even worse than before!
