I was listening to Apple Music from my iPhone. But for some strange reason, it kept switching to my iPad Pro automatically during songs. What in the hell?

How does this even work? When music is being played on the iPhone and no sound on the iPad, why would the APP2 want to switch to the iPad. Makes 0% sense at all.

Apple, fix your crap. On the APP1, automatic switching between devices was terrible too.

AirPods Pro 2 takes advantage of the new Proximity Pro Max chip to determine intelligently which device you should be listening to your music on, and conveniently switches automagically to that device for you.

Your response to this should only be - Sorry Apple, I'll open the Apple Music app on my iPad Pro and continue listening there.

Yeah, I find the autoswitching super annoying.

Just turn it off.

You have to do it separately for each pair of headphones on each device you are signed into iCloud on.
