Appcleaner from freemacsoft seems not to be fully compatible with Mac os Catalina. The app will open fine but the The "Smart delete" function does not work.

The pop-up window that displays left-over files after a app has been removed will not show up on the screen. Anyone who using the app in Catalina who also can confirm this?

Why would you need to use appcleaner on a mac? Completely useless.

Don't try to be a (rude) wiseguy if you don't know what you're talking about. AppCleaner finds a lot of preference files etc. belonging to the app which wouldn't be deleted otherwise if the program is simply dragged into the trash. Just search for the app / developer name of apps you've deinstalled your way and I am sure you'll find a lot of leftover stuff.

It won't work in it's present form and might not in the future because it will want access to things that won't be allowed on the system volume and won't have access if they try to place/remove anything into a system folder. The good news is that if they update and obey the rules, it will be accessible in a user/data store and could work in that way. It will depend but that's a lot of new logic to build into app cleaner - it will depend on the developer. I would hold tight and see what they plan for it.

As with all things that don't work yet- these are Beta releases of software and one key reasons for betas is to allow developers to see, develop and test needed changes.

Have you reported issues to developer company

Yes, I have sent a report about the issue to the developer.
