iPad Apple 30 pin keyboard dock

Looking for one of these on ebay. Some descriptions say their model only works with iPad 1 and 2. (I have "the new iPad" 3rd Gen). Anyone know if there was more than one model released for the 30 pin keyboard dock? I assume all 30 pin products will work with one another. Thought the ebay seller might just be confused about the generations and when the lightning came into play.

Mine did work on my ipad 3 until ios 7 it no longer works,neither does the camera connection kit which worked fine until then, great job Apple...
