It seems as though Apple's 5770 uses a different device ID, which means driver updates dont want to install. Ive been stuck on some really old version and could really use an update. Does anyone know what ID I have to add (and where) to the latest AMD driver to have it recognized? It would be much appreciated.

I’ve been wondering this too. Also whether the update will break the card?

In the past, some folks reported success downloading and installing the Mobility version of the AMD drivers. I have not tried that.
