Apple Accessory Charger is the Chrome Version

A few folks noticed that the magnetic chargers that come with the watches are different between the Sport and Watch versions. The Sport is all white plastic. The Watch version has a chrome body and white plastic that contacts the watch.

I just received my extra charger I ordered from Apple, and it is the chrome/plastic version like with the Watch version.

Yeah I noticed the same thing. Got a black sport watch which came with the all plastic charger. Then an additional one I bought had the chrome finish. Think this is normal, maybe all additional cables come with the chrome plastic finish.

What's the difference between the 1m and 2m? Length?

Yeah. 2m is twice as long. Think 6 feet vs. 3ft for us American types. Interestingly enough, the one with my watch was 2m, so this seems like the opposite of iPhones where you get the short one included and pay extra for the long one.

I'll never understand the thought process here. You never use the watch while it's charging. You do sometimes use your iPhone when it's charging. So the longer cable should be with the iPhone as standard, and the shorter one with the watch, IMO.

the thought process is that you are much more likely to bring your iphone charger cable around (at work, use with your laptop, everywhere, etc). So the shorter cable is more suitable.

Whereas with the watch, you are most likely to use your charger at home and get it fully charge before you go out. And with it being a watch, most likely you will need to see the time when you get up so at the bed side table (or your watch drawer). So you need a longer cable to reach those areas comparing to your iphone where you just plug it in any USB available next to you.

Very logical if you ask me... but maybe its just me lolz.
