Apple addiction

I am curious to know if any research has been put into apple fanatics? IE: buying something from apple each time you pass their store or think about them alot?

I bought the book The Cult Of Mac about a year ago, and I found it wonderful.

It's a little bit outdates now since the new iPods and the iPhone have been released (there are "touch screen iPod" and "iPhone" mockups in the book)
